Susanna grew up in Vermont and moved to New York City to attend Parsons for Fashion Design after completing her undergrad in Environmental Studies. She lived in NYC for 11 years and now resides in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. Over the last 15 years of exploring the intersection of fashion and nature, Susanna has lived in the Amazon jungle and studied how colors are made with local plants, studied natural color in Oaxaca, Mexico with indigenous rug weavers, studied fashion design in Paris, worked as a stylist, designer, seamstress, tailor, interior designer and showroom manager in NYC and SF, and started Earthen Warrior, an eco lifestyle blog.

She brings her many years of expertise and her love of color, design, and most importantly, the natural world, to Flower Dye.
